Qiji, named after the legendary “thousand-mile horse,” is a key component of Viablife’s Honghu Laboratory. It is China’s first commercial, fully integrated high-throughput, automated microbial evolution system. The Qiji System integrates 14 functional modules, seamlessly executing 12 steps across 40 experimental processes in full automation, greatly improving efficiency and accuracy. High-throughput colony selection has scaled from 400 selections per day to up to 20,000 per day. The system enables real-time monitoring, unattended operation, and 24/7 online surveillance, continuously tracking the growth status of live cells.
With no data left behind, the system integrates remote AI Online control, massive data generation, and cloud-based integration, providing multidimensional capabilities to better meet customers’ commercial development needs.
